8 ELECTION UPDATES

  1. Early Voting has started at your local locations. The Algonquin Township GOP site has many voting resources all in one place for all of McHenry County: polling locations and schedules for Early and 11/5 voting, sample ballots, Tax Advisory Questions explanations, local candidates, information on the judges, and more.

  2. When voting in person please do not wear candidate clothing or hats. You will be asked to remove them. It's considered Electioneering. It's not allowed. It's Illinois law.

  3. If you need assistance at the voting booth, tell the election judge when you request your ballot. They will ask you to read or listen to an oath and have you sign that you agree. Your assistant cannot tell you how to vote. You take your written (paper and/or phone) answers to the voting booth with you.
